Shots fired, two lightly injured in hit and run in Farradis

Two individuals suffered light injuries overnight after their vehicles were struck by gunfire, and they were run over in the Arab village of Farradis.

Police spokesman said that the victims, who remain unidentified, left their home to inspect shots heard outside and were targeted in a hit and run attack.

Officers from the Zichron Yaakov police station arrested three youths, all in their 20's, in connection with the incident.

Investigators have filed an official request that the detention of the suspects be extended.
