Dozens of people went out of control in Silwan Sunday evening and threw Molotov cocktails at a Jewish home.

Six police officers were reportedly injured lightly.

Israeli security guards that were positioned in the area began to shot in the air in efforts to control the angry mob but they failed.

Border Security Police forces that were called to the east Jerusalem neighborhood were also stoned. The forces began to spray tear gas to disperse the crowds.
