The two officers, who were killed during the Friday terrorist attack at Temple Mount, will be laid to rest today.

The funeral of officer Hail Stawi, aged 22, will be held in Beit HaAm in Magharr at four p.m. The funeral of officer Kaamil Shnaan, aged 30, will be held in Beit HaAm in Hurfeish at five thirty p.m.

Both Maghar and Hurfeish are in Northern Israel.

Officer Shanan leaves behind a three-week old child, and was the son of former Israeli Druse Knesset member Shakib Shanan.

He was recruited into the Israel Police’s Temple Mount unit in 2012.
