A Palestinian man was wounded by IDF fire east of the El-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Tuesday, Palestinian sources reported.

According to the reports, the 32-year-old man was in moderate condition after being shot in the chest.

An IDF spokeswoman told The Jerusalem Post that the IDF had acted several times during the day to distance Gazans who came close to the border fence with Israel. She said that the IDF had not recorded any hits but was examining reports of the incident.
