The Spanish national soccer team played in Jerusalem’s Teddy Stadium on Monday night against the Israeli national team during the World Cup Qualifier match and soundly defeated their hosts with 0-1 at the 76’th minute with a goal won by Spain's Asier Illarramendi.

This means that the Spaniards will be able to compete at the upcoming 2018 World Cup that is scheduled to take place in Russia during the summer.

Israeli television channel Kan [Here] fiercely lashed out at coach Elisha Levi for what seems to be a massive failure to lead the Israeli national soccer team to the World Cup.
