Spain stops arms transfers to Israel in response to high civilian casualties in Gaza

Spain decided to freeze its weapons transfers to Israel due to the current security situation, according to Spanish newspaper El Pais.

According to the report, the decision was made last Thursday after Spanish government officials were "shocked" by the disproportionately high number of civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip.The decision to freeze arms transfers was mainly symbolic, as Spanish weapons make up a very small portion of Israel's military arsenal.
