Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources Yuval Steinitz commented on the election polls from the weekend, on Sunday.

"Netanyahu rightfully earned compliments and Labor leader Avi Gabbay rightfully earned contempt." Steinitz said on Army Radio. Steinitz also complemented Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot for the "most successful operation" in Gaza, to date.

"The chief of staff said 'thousands of operations', but not all of them necessarily from the air. This is one of Israel's most successful operations ever - we have been in a long battle without going into war, “Steinitz said.
