Strong earthquake originating near Crete felt in Israel

An earthquake was felt in the central Israeli cities Rishon Lezion and Petah Tikva on Wednesday. The epicenter of the 6.2-magnitude quake was off Crete. No injuries or damage were reported on the island or in Israel.
