Student brings training grenade to school in South

A fifth-grade student in the in Ramat Negev Regional Council in the South brought a training grenade with him to school, and while playing with it, it went off, Walla! News reported on Thursday
No injuries or damage was reported following the incident. Although they look like real grenades, training grenades, when set off make a loud popping sound but do not cause damage.
According to Walla, a sapper was summoned to the scene and an investigation was opened regarding the circumstances of where the grenade was found, as well as how and why it was brought to school.
