Supreme Court President Esther Hayut attacked politicians' criticism of judges, and said other elected officials who do not condemn the behavior give license to such speech, in an address Tuesday at the President's Residence.
"Criticism by elected officials of judges sometimes borders on incitement," Hayut said. When politicians do not condemns these statements, she added, "it is no wonder that some of the public sees this as a permit and permission to use the same language."
