Susan Rice, US President Barack Obama's national security advisor, addressed AIPAC's annual policy conference in Washington on Monday.

"The US-Israel alliance is not just rooted in our mutual interest, vital as they are," Rice reaffirmed in a speech to the largest pro-Israel lobby in the US. The US-Israel relationship "is not negotiable, and it never will be."

"President Obama's commitment to Israel is deep, and personal," Rice said. "I know because I see it every day."
