Israel’s Foreign Ministry has reported that “there is suspicious activity” near its New York consulate. It added, “the suspect is in police custody and is being checked by local authorities.” It had no more information about the incident at this time.

Israel’s Counsul-General in New York Danny Dayan tweeted that everyone in the building was fine and that morale was high. The consulate spokesperson added that during the event people were not allowed entrance to the building.
