The swearing in of Israel's new government is now set to take place late Thursday night after 10pm, a Knesset spokesman said on Wednesday.

A special session of the Knesset plenum will start at 7pm on Thursday evening. There will be a vote for Knesset speaker at 10pm, which could only take place then, because outgoing speaker Benny Gantz only quit his post at 9:57pm on Tuesday and it takes 48 hours for the resignation to take effect.
At the Likud's request, only after the party's candidate, outgoing Tourism Minister Yariv Levin, will be approved will the swearing in of ministers begin. In between, the Knesset will have to vote confidence in the new government.

Gantz had promised that the swearing in ceremony would take place on Thursday at 1pm.

But all the coalition agreements with all the coalition parties have to be submitted to the Knesset 24 hours before the vote ahead of the swearing in. No agreements were submitted by 1pm on Wednesday.

The parties that will be in the coalition are Likud, Blue and White, Shas, United Torah Judaism, Labor and Derech Eretz.
