The head of the Syrian parliament called on the US House of Representatives to vote against a US-led strike against Damascus, Syrian state news agency SANA reported on Friday.In a letter to House Speaker John Boehner, Dr. Jihad al-Laham stressed the need for cooperation to combating terrorism in Syria and urged "a civilized dialogue and not... a dialogue of blood and fire."
