Four youths were lightly injured on Saturday during a police chase, after the car they were speeding away in slammed into another vehicle in Tel Aviv. According to reports, the driver of the offending car had initially fled from the authorities during a routine police check in the city because he was under the influence of alcohol, and because his license had already been suspended as a result of previous traffic violations. The four passengers in the car that were injured were taken to a Tel Aviv hospital. The driver was arrested.
