Two alleged car thieves struck an ambulance and another vehicle, lightly injuring six people while attempting to escape from police in a stolen sports utility vehicle on Friday morning.

The two suspects abandoned the vehicle following the crash, fleeing on foot.

Police apprehended one of the suspects, a Hebron resident, while the second man remained at large.
