Tel Aviv to boost security in schools in wake of fatal shooting

The Tel Aviv municipality announced on Saturday that it will beef up security around schools and other crowded areas this week in the wake of Friday’s fatal shooting on Dizengoff Street.

The municipality will deploy more security guards, though it is encouraging the city’s residents to adhere to their daily routine.School trips and activities will continue as scheduled, the municipality announced.
