Tennis: Ram/Mirni through to US Open quarter finals, Pe'er/Dulko out

Israel's Andy Ram and his Belarusian doubles partner Max Mirnyi qualified for the quarter finals of the US Open on Sunday night. The duo defeated Simone Bolelli and Andreas Seppi of Italy, 7-6 (5), 6-7 (8), 6-2 in the third round at Flushing Meadows. Meanwhile, Shahar Pe'er had less luck with her Argentine partner Gisela Dulko, as the two were knocked out of the women's doubles by third seeds Samantha Stosur and Rennae Stubbs of Australia 7-5, 6-3.
