A terrorist organization affiliated with global jihad elements in Sinai claimed Friday that it fired two rockets at Eilat on Thursday.

Eilat residents reported hearing two blasts on Thursday night, but no fallen rockets were located in searches carried out by security forces.

The Ansar Bayt al-Maqdes (Supporters Of Jerusalem) group, which has claimed responsibility for rocket attacks in the past, said that the explosions heard by Israelis were from two Grad rockets they had fired.
