A suspected Palestinian terrorist was shot in the lower body after attempting to throw an explosive at Israeli Security Forces near Bethlehem Wednesday, police said.

Israeli bomb squad personnel managed to neutralized the explosive at the scene.

According to Israeli Emergency Medical Services, the suspected terrorist was reportedly in moderate condition and was evacuated to Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem's Ein Kerem.
