A 59-year-old woman, her 52-year-old sister and 28-year-old daughter were killed, and three others injured in a car accident Thursday night between a shuttle bus and a car at the corner of Eli Cohen Street and Yitzhak Rabin Boulevard in Ashkelon. A father and son were among the injured, and were taken for medical treatment at the city's Barzilai Hospital. From an initial investigation it arose that the shuttle bus ran a red light and caused the accident. Heavy traffic jams were caused as a result of the crash.
