July 11, 2009 11:10

Several hours ahead of expected demonstrations to protest the opening of Jerusalem's Carta parking lot on Saturdays, three haredi men were lightly-to-moderately wounded in a fight with secular men at the Bar Ilan Junction. A Magen David Adom team evacuated the men, who were hit and stabbed in their heads, to Jerusalem's Sha'are Tzedek Hospital. The attackers fled the scene after the Saturday morning fight. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
