Three petrol bombs thrown at Ashkelon police station

Three petrol bombs were thrown at the Ashkelon police station after midnight Thursday, which landed in the courtyard of the police station, the police's foreign press spokesman reported.

No injuries were caused, although one of them caused a small fire which was put out quickly. Police forensics examined the scene and opened an investigation into the incident.

Investigations and the search for the suspects who fled the scene are continuing.
