A tourist in his sixties was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon after he stumbled and fell down a mobile staircase while alighting from an airplane that landed at the Ben-Gurion International Airport. An Ayalon Magen David Adom team treated the unconscious man, who had arrived on a Transaero Airlines flight from Russia, and evacuated him to the Tel Hashomer Medical Center. Fortunately, the MDA team was already waiting by the airplane, because there was an ill passenger on board the flight.
