A 67-year-old resident of Kfar Saba was killed on Wednesday when a large tree fell on top of her. Police received reports of the incident on Rothschild Street in Kfar Saba at approximately 10 a.m.

Emergency medical responders evacuated the woman in critical condition and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The reason for the tree falling on the pedestrian is unclear and police have opened an investigation into the circumstances.
