ERBIL - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has agreed to increase water releases to Iraq, Iraqi parliament speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi said on Wednesday.
"Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has agreed to our request ...in order to guarantee water reaches all of Iraq's provinces, especially Basra," Halbousi, who met Erdogan in Turkey on Tuesday, said in a statement.
