Turkey wants US condemnation of Israeli raid

WASHINGTON — Turkey is demanding that the United States condemn the botched Israeli raid on an aid flotilla that ended with Israeli soldiers killing nine activists.
Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu made the comments Tuesday ahead of a meeting with US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The White House has reacted cautiously to the raid, asking for full disclosure of the facts.
Davutoglu told reporters, "I have to be frank, I am not very happy with this statement from Washington yesterday ... We expect a clear condemnation."
