Turkey's Erdogan promises to lower inflation, interest rates after elections

ANKARA - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday promised to lower interest rates and inflation following snap presidential and parliamentary elections on June 24.
Speaking to thousands of supporters in Istanbul, Erdogan said the new executive presidential system which Turkey will switch to after the elections would give a new momentum to the economy.
