Turkish Deputy PM visits Rohingya camp, pledges aid

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Recep Akdag said on Wednesday (September 27) that Turkey will provide at least 100,000 temporary shelters for Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh.

Akdag visited the Kutupalong camp in Cox's Bazar where he told local officials Turkey will provide the refugees with the shelters.

He also called on the international community to address the Rohingya crisis and help them restore their rights back in Myanmar.
