Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Thursday evening denied allegations that Ankara deliberately blew the cover of an Israeli spy ring in Iran.

The allegations, reported by the Washington Post on Thursday morning, are "without any foundation," Davutoglu said.

"[Turkish intelligence chief Hakan] Fidan and other security agents report only to the Turkish government and the parliament," he said.
