Two Haifa residents seriously injured on roads in separate incidents

An 82-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car while crossing Sderot Moriya on a pedestrian crossing in Haifa on Monday morning. She was evacuated to the city's Rambam Hospital. The driver who hit her, a 67-year-old woman, was taken for questioning. Traffic police investigators were examining the scene of the accident. Separately, a pedestrian in her sixties was seriously injured in the Horev junction area in the city.
