Two Palestinians were wounded in their lower body by IDF gunfire near the northern Gaza border on Tuesday afternoon, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Office.

The two were part of a riot taking place in the area. The crowd threw stones and rolled burning tires at the soldiers, who responded with non-lethal crowd dispersal methods, said an IDF spokesperson.

The soldiers fired shots at their lower body after the protesters refused to disperse.
