Two arrested for rock throwing at police in east Jerusalem

Two men were arrested in the neighborhood of Ras al-Amud in east Jerusalem for allegedly throwing rocks at a police force handling a car accident that had occurred at the place earlier.

The two were taken for questioning at the Shalem District police station.

Police said that the accident happened when a driver lost control of a vehicle and hit a street pole. A woman and her daughter were lightly injured.
