Two motorcyclists were killed on Saturday morning at the Ein Tut Junction on Route 6. Another rider was seriously injured.

Paramedics treated the wounded at the scene, but were forced to confirm the death of two of the motorcyclists, a man and a woman in their forties.

MDA evacuated the third injured rider by helicopter to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.

Initial police investigations reveal that one of the motorcycles slid on the road, hitting a safety barrier and causing the other to slip in an attempt to avoid crashing into him.
