UK issues travel advisory for Israel, Palestinian territories

Britons have been warned by their government to avoid travel to Israel and the Palestinian territories in the wake of the Russian plane crash that killed 224 passengers in the Sinai Peninsula on Saturday.

According to the British newspaper Independent, the Foreign Office has listed Israel along with other countries such as Sudan, Iran, Egypt, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and Haiti as places that tourists should avoid parts of.
