UN Chief Ban-Ki Moon called on Tuesday for new Iraqi PM-elect Haider al-Abadi to quickly form the new government.

Ban warned that tension in the country as well as the Islamic State "could push the country into an even deeper crisis."

He also ordered security forces in Iraq to stay out of political activities while the new Iraqi government is forming.
