Violence against Palestinians carried out by Jewish settlers in the West Bank rose in the last year, according to a report released by the UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on Friday.

According to the report, the weekly average of settler attacks resulting in Palestinian casualties and property damage increased by 40 percent in 2011 compared to 2010, and by over 165% compared to 2009.

In 2011, three Palestinians were killed and 167 injured by settlers, the report said.
