UN workers meet with African migrants on 2nd day of protests near Egypt border

Representatives from the UN Refugee Agency met on Saturday with African asylum seekers camping out near the border with Egypt in protest of their detention in Israel.
On the second day of demonstrations, the some 1,500 protesters remained near the border, refusing to return to the Holot Detention Facility as ordered by Israeli authorities on Friday.
The demonstrators called for a "humane solution to our distress" as they refused to return to the Israeli detention facility, which they said "violates our human rights."
