US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman on Tuesday hailed the behind the scenes efforts carried out by the US to calm the Israel-Jordan rift. Speaking at the Knesset's US-Israel alliance caucus Friedman said that 'without a lot of noise and with careful deliberation we were able to diffuse a very difficult situation.'
