John Kerry will visit Egypt on Saturday for his first trip there as secretary of state.

On Friday Kerry, on his first trip to a Muslim nation since taking office, met Turkish leaders in Ankara for talks meant to focus on the civil war in neighboring Syria and bilateral interests from energy security and Iran's nuclear program to counter-terrorism.

While in Turkey, Kerry criticized a comment made by Turkey's prime minister likening Zionism to crimes against humanity.
