US Vice President Joe Biden called WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange a "high-tech terrorist" on Sunday, during an interview with NBC's "Meet The Press."
"This guy has done things and put in jeopardy the lives and occupations of people in other parts of the world," Biden told NBC. "He's made it difficult to conduct our business with our allies and our friends. ... It has done damage."
Biden also said the leaked cables have had a direct effect on his own diplomatic work. "There is a desire now to meet with me alone rather than have staff in the room," he said. "It makes things more cumbersome."
