The US and South Korea intend to announce an end to jointly conducted military drills, according to a White House official and the Ministry of National Defence in South Korea, Ynet news reported.

According to the White House official and the South Korean officials, this is due to the attempts by US President Donald Trump to ease tensions between the US and South Korea and North Korea, which has often expressed dissatisfaction with military cooperation, Ynet reported.
