AMSTERDAM - The use of chemical weapons in the Syrian civil war is becoming routine, a US official said in The Hague on Monday, calling on members of the global chemical weapons body to collectively condemn their use.

"Today, we must raise our voice collectively and emphatically to condemn such use," Rafael Foley told a meeting of the Executive Council at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).
