U.S. softens view of Malaysia, Cuba in human trafficking report

WASHINGTON - United States takes Malaysia off its list of worst offenders in human trafficking, removing potential barrier to its joining signature trade pact despite opposition from human-rights groups and nearly 180 U.S. lawmakers.
