'US to present plan to restart peace talks within 2 months'

The US will present a "plan of action" for the resumption of the peace process within the next two months, AFP quoted a Palestinian official as saying.

US Secretary of State John Kerry met with both Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas over the weekend, following President Obama's visit to Israel last week.

But, Kerry "did not want to impose any ideas for now on the two sides, and has no specific plan as yet," the official told AFP, adding it was "too early to talk about bilateral or even trilateral meetings."
