The United States will transfer $200 million to help ease the budget crisis in Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salaam Fayad's government, the Palestinian premier's office said Thursday. Fayad's office said US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton would announce the aid on Friday. The money is part of $900 million in aid pledged by the US in March.
