A 14 year old was arrested Wednesday for running over a police officer with the stolen car he was driving in the northern city of Iksal, Israel Police reported. The officer sustained light injuries.

Police had pulled over the vehicle under suspicions that it was stolen. While they were officers were speaking with the underage driver, one of the passengers started running from the scene.

Afterward, the driver tried to flee but accidentally drove in reverse and injured the officer.
