West Bank police on Tueday said they arrested five suspects (including two minors) for torching a Palestinian field.

Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported that the blaze destroyed 5,000 square meters of crops before firefighters managed to extinguish the fire.

Landowner Ibrahim Abdul-Hamid told Ma'an that settlers started the fire.

"What happened today is an episode in a sequence of attacks targeting our farmers, especially in the fields adjacent to Route 60," Abdul-Hamid told Ma'an.
