Water supplies in several communities in central Israel unfit for drinking

The Health Ministry on Friday deemed water supplies in several communities in central Israel unfit for drinking. Bacterial contamination was found in water in Modi'in, Maccabim-Re'ut, Shilat, Kfar Ruth, Kfar Ha'oranim, Sha'alabim, Mevo Horon, Yavne and Nof Ayalon. The ministry instructed residents of those communities to boil their drinking water until further notice.
