During routine activities early Tuesday morning near Nablus, a Palestinian ran at IDF soldiers with a knife in his hand, while shouting "Allahu Akbar," an army statement said.

Soldiers shot at the man, killing him, after initial attempts to stop the impending attack failed.

No soldiers were wounded in the incident.
